Chronicles of the Everflame CollectiveChronicles of the Everflame Collective is my original rules-light roleplaying game (RPG) for running short adventures with younger players and beginners of all ages.
The Everflame system was designed based on my years of experience sharing RPGs with young people, so the system may be most helpful for teachers, parents, or others who want to share RPGs with their own groups of young people. The intent, however, was to design a “newcomer friendly” game for all ages — adults and kids alike. In addition to the Everflame core rulebook, eight playable adventure chronicles are available. To raise money for a print run of the rule booklet, I completed a successful crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter, and fulfilled backer rewards ahead of schedule. Throughout the process, I coordinated with two artists -- one who created the map, and one did all of the character illustrations -- as well as a print shop who produced print versions of the rules booklet and a poster-sized map.
