Are you feeling down about the prospect of a socially-distant Halloween?

Join Jason on a haunted house adventure in roleplaying game format!

Picture
A pair of local teens, panicky and out of breath, run into the town square, calling for help. The boys -- the elder two sons of the town blacksmith -- dared their youngest brother to spend five minutes inside the "haunted" farmhouse at the edge of town... and he never came out! Will our heroes rescue the missing child from whatever creepy fate may have befallen him inside the forgotten farmhouse?

Roleplaying games (like Dungeons & Dragons) are a great vehicle for connection and self-expression in which teams of players take on the roles of characters in an adventure story. Players describe what their characters do and say, co-creating the story as it unfolds, in collaboration with their teammates and the game facilitator.

If you've never played a RPG before, Jason has got you covered! We'll use a beginner-friendly system with streamlined rules, designed to get new players into the fun of adventuring without a steep learning curve.

Who: This adventure works best with a party of 3 to 5 players. You can express interest individually and I'll match folks up, or you can recruit friends and family and reach out as a group.

When: Friday evenings Oct 9, 16, 23, 30. Dates are first come, first served. Timing will be negotiated with the players. The experience probably runs around 3 hours from start to finish.

Where: Zoom... but creepy and fun!
