About Jason Ermer & Mythematics
Hello! I'm Jason Ermer (he/him). My work is about celebrating the joy of exploration and discovery. I delight in crafting interactive problem-solving experiences to challenge, entertain, and delight an audience.

Mythematics is my name for a certain blend of mathematics and storytelling. Over a decades-long career as a professional educator -- working as a secondary mathematics teacher, a university instructor, and a leader of professional development for teachers -- my goal has always been to engage participants in rich tasks which invite creativity, curiosity, and a sense of play while also offering opportunities for deep and rigorous mathematical thinking.
