Curriculum Resources
Classroom activities that engage, inspire, and entertain
Over my years as a professional educator, I have curated a collection of rich mathematical tasks which invite creativity, curiosity, and a sense of play while also offering opportunities for deep and rigorous mathematical thinking.
They have a fun little twist to them and more detail. It’s not like, “Sally had 3 apples,” but instead there are chapters that all come together and are actually fun for kids. I've been very impressed with the rich discussion that's taken place (particularly when they disagree with one another) whilst they try to solve the problems. |

Coaching & Consulting
Learning experiences for young people, families, and professionals
I work with young people and adults to support mathematical flourishing. My intent is always to bring a welcoming and exploratory instructional style, allowing every participant to feel successful, regardless of their confidence level with mathematics.
Thank you again for all that you do to make learning mathematics a positive experience for kids. We really appreciate the amazing way you connect with them and your communication style. I love how you are always a kind and funny teacher and how your classes are always exciting to experience. |
Math Coaching & ClassesI offer individual mathematics coaching and small-group classes for young people and adults.
This work supports learners who are reluctant about mathematics and wish to develop confidence and fluency with particular mathematical concepts. Individual coaching also supports learners who are enthusiastic about mathematics and want to deepen their thinking about complex problems or explore a topic of personal interest. |
Professional DevelopmentThe Rediscovering Mathematics project supports the professional development for teachers, departments, and schools seeking to create more equitable and student-centered environments for the teaching and learning of mathematics.
